Pr Léonard van der Berg, MD, PhD

Is Professor of Neurology at the Department of Neurology of the University Medical Center Utrecht. He is director of the Netherlands ALS Center that aims for optimal diagnostic work-up, care and treatment for patients with ALS and other motor neuron diseases in The Netherlands. Leonard van den Berg is head of the Laboratory for Experimental Neurology and Neuromuscular/ALS Research Group which is actively involved in (investigator initiated) clinical trials, ALS epidemiology, and the identification of life style or genetic risk factors and ALS biomarkers.
