 Is Professor of Neurology at the Department of Neurology of the University Medical Center Utrecht. He is director of the Netherlands ALS Center that aims for optimal diagnostic work-up, care and treatment for patients with ALS and other motor neuron diseases in The Netherlands. Leonard van den Berg is head of the Laboratory for Experimental Neurology and Neuromuscular/ALS Research Group which is actively involved in (investigator initiated) clinical trials, ALS epidemiology, and the identification of life style or genetic risk factors and ALS biomarkers. |
